  5. Wednesday's Child: Timothy 12/12

Timothy is an energetic guy who loves to interact with others. He likes to play outside, listen to music, and sing nursery songs. One activity he enjoys is playing catch! Being very inquisitive, he's a fan of having someone show him new things and he loves trying exciting foods. Timothy is diagnosed with cerebral palsy and hip dysplasia. He is currently working on his communication, both verbally and through American Sign Language. This teen is mobile and does not use his wheelchair all of the time. He can stand up and walk with assistance. He benefits from speech and physical therapy, which will need to continue after placement. It is not expected that Timothy will live independently as an adult but his future can be beautiful! A family who can provide one on one support for his daily care and emotional needs would be great for this wonderful young man. Timothy's caseworker prefers a two-parent home; however, all family types will be considered. Timothy has a sister who would like to maintain contact. Financial assistance may be available for adoption-related services.
