11. Does anyone talk on the phone any more?

I was fortunate enough to grow up in the sweet spot of technology. I'm young enough to have a firm grasp on computers, cell phones, Twitter and the like. But I'm old enough to remember life before the Internet. So I'm capable of working my iPhone, and I'm not afraid of answering it. But it seems evident that younger people are becoming extremely averse to talking on the phone. They'll text, email, Facebook message and Twitter DM, but they won't call. Is America making a big mistake by phasing the phone call out of our lives? A new article from Salon.com ponders this question:

15. STDs and sex: What you're obligated to disclose

This super dominant dude has been all into me the last couple days. He has a primary partner/girlfriend, and has been chatting me up/calling me/texting me. So we get down to the STD conversation, and turns out he won't play with me, not because I have herpes, but because one of my regular partners does. Is this normal? Was I even obligated to discuss that? Should I have even mentioned it? I mean, in a way, I was sharing someone else's secret. I'm totally unsure of my ethical obligations in this case. Do I have to tell everyone I might potentially have sex with that one of my regular partners has it?

17. Genital herpes can be transmitted even between outbreaks

Genital herpes is a common sexually transmitted disease, affecting about 16% of U.S. adults. A lot of people, however, don't have outbreaks of painful blisters and don't know they have the infection. Others know they have herpes but believe they can't transmit it to a sexual partner unless they're experiencing symptoms.

21. Ambushed by recurring cold sores? Here's why

For such a ubiquitous plague, cold sores can be mighty shaming.
For such a ubiquitous plague, cold sores can be mighty shaming. In addition to the indignity of wearing a bulging, weepy blister on your lip, sufferers also must contend with the stigma of its source: HSV-1, a type of herpes simplex virus. But unlike...
