  7. Funeral date set for Russell 'Rusty' Porter in Springfield

    The family of Russell &ldquo;Rusty&rdquo; Porter are preparing for his funeral and visitation. On April 17, Porter and his wife, Rebecca Porter, disappeared from their Willard home. In July, a Taney County deputy discovered their bodies in a rural wooded area. Authorities have not released the cause of death. On October 1, a visitation will be held for Russell Porter at 11:00 at the Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church in Springfield. At 1:00 a funeral will follow. In August, Rebecca Porter&rsquo;s family held a funeral service in Crane.
