    At 5:41 on Tuesday night, members of the Elks Lodge 501 in Joplin held a moment of silence for four lives lost in the tornado. They gathered at the exact time the twister hit to honor friends they won't forget. On Wednesday, Jefferson &ldquo;Jeff&rdquo; Taylor&rsquo;s family accepted a medal of honor on his behalf at a memorial service. &ldquo;Caden I want to give you this in honor of your daddy who is your hero,&rdquo; Jasper County Sheriff Archie Dunn said while handing Taylor&rsquo;s five-year-old son a plaque.

    A firefighter from Kansas is charged with stealing from tornado victims. Matthew W. Page, 25, of Baxter Springs is accused of stealing $245.44 worth of items from the Home Depot. Police say Page and another firefighter were assisting in recovery efforts at the store where seven people died inside.
