  1. Lawsuit filed for big rig crash that killed 2 people near Republic

    SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- The widow of a man from Macon who died when a tractor-<span>trailer</span> caused a chain reaction crash in Republic sued the driver of the big rig and his company.&nbsp; Mary Gresham's husband, <a href="http://www.greeningeaganhayes.com/fh/obituaries/obituary.cfm?o_id=2037637&amp;fh_id=14477" target="_blank">Corey</a>, was killed in the crash around 9 a.m. March 27.&nbsp; <a href="http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/stltoday/obituary.aspx?n=lawrence-coan-mike&amp;pid=163937676&amp;fhid=5885" target="_blank">Lawrence <span><span>Coan</span></span></a> of <span><span>Kimberling</span></span> City also died in the crash.&nbsp;

  13. Family Suing Kanakuk Kamp Asks Judge for Restraining Order Against Camp and CEO

    The family of a former camper that is suing Kanakuk Kamp is asking a judge for a restraining order against the camp, it&rsquo;s CEO Joe White and former director Pete Newman. Since appearing in the case, the family says Joe White and the camp have contacted them by mail, telephone and email despite repeated requests to not contact them. The family is suing the camp because they say camp leaders failed to prevent the molestation of their son even though there were warning signs. They are suing under the names John and Jane Doe.
