  3. One year later no arrests in double homicide investigation for slain Willard couple

    GREENE COUNTY, Mo. - Someone could get a $20,000 reward if they have information that leads to the arrest and conviction of a killer involved in a double homicide in the Ozarks. The killing of Rebecca and Russell Porter remains unsolved one year later. The bodies of the Willard couple were found last July. They disappeared from their Willard home on April 17 of last year.

  5. Springfield police officers are searching for the person who shot a man to death on Elm Street

    SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - Springfield police are trying to determine why a man in his 50's was shot to death inside an apartment on east Elm. Officers are calling the shooting a homicide. On Thursday, no one was arrested for the crime. “I stuck my head out and saw the police down there,” Neighbor Fred Bourgeois said. His friends called to alert him someone was killed just doors down from his apartment. “It was a little bit too close to home,” Bourgeois said. “We keep our doors locked for a reason.”
