Brian's bashes: Maybe it's only a coincidence that the Orioles are 2-0 in the first two games started by Brian Roberts, but there was no question that his return Tuesday gave everybody in the clubhouse a lift. Of course, the Orioles had already won back-to-back series against the Red Sox and Phillies, but there was a noticeable change in the offensive chemistry in the first two games against the Pirates. The Orioles jumped on top in both games and continued to tack on runs until the game was out of reach.
