Above high temps around the Ozarks are causing people to question their outdoor activities, but not even heat index readings above 100 degrees is stopping area race fans.
The Springfield Raceway is celebrating its 50th year in business, and welcomed a good crowd Saturday night. The quarter-mile dirt track ran A-modified, B-modified, bombers, and legend cars in front of a group of dedicated fans.
