Springfield, Mo. – The Springfield Rugby Football Club will host the first-ever Mudpuppy 7’s International Rugby Tournament beginning at 9 a.m. June 27 at Springfield Rugby Park.
Teams will compete in a day-long tournament with the featured team the Pill Harriers from Newport, South Wales.
Rugby 7’s is played in the summer. Instead of 15 on each team, there are seven players and halves are shortened from 40 minutes to seven minutes.
Admission is free. Patrons should bring lawn chairs.
