SPRINGFIELD, MO - Kickapoo senior Mackenzie Rozell signed her national letter of intent to play tennis at the University of Montana Monday afternoon.
Rozell finished runner-up at the 2011 state singles. She chose not to play for the Kickapoo Tennis Team last season however.
Rozell says she plans to major in engineering at Montana.
When asked about her biggest strength, Rozell turned to her role as a teammate.
"I think I get along with girls really well, and I think I can feed off their energy," said Rozell who was named the "Most Valuable Teammate" at Kickapoo in 2008.
