A native of Greenwood, MO, Matt Warner attended college at Evangel University in Springfield, where he played on the baseball team.
Before coming to KSPR, Matt worked for a couple of years as the weekend sports anchor/reporter at KETK (NBC) in Tyler, Texas. While there, Matt hosted a weekly sports show that aired on several different FOX stations across Texas and Louisiana.
Most recently, Matt was the weekend sports anchor and reporter at WDAY6 in Fargo, North Dakota.
Matt and his wife Zanna are both Evangel graduates, and are happy to be back “home”.
Baseball is the sports Matt enjoys covering the most, and he still believes that someday his Kansas City Royals will be a playoff team again.
