SPRINGFIELD, MO - Former Olympic gold medalist and 3-time Grand Slam champion Lindsay Davenport returned to the Ozarks as her Orange County Breakers fell 20-17 in overtime to the Springfield Lasers.
Davenport, 36, is now a mother of 3 and no longer plays professionally on tour, but enjoys each summer playing World Team Tennis.
Davenport last visited Springfield in 2010, but recalls her 2002 visit while playing for the U.S. Fed Cup team and says she remembers the frozen custard above all else.
