KSPR Prep Spotlight: Kelsey Williams, Eminence Basketball

EMINENCE, MO - Each week the KSPR Sports Team gives you an inside look at a local high school athlete.  This week we chat with Eminence senior guard Kelsey Williams.

Kelsey enjoys hanging out with her friends in addition to excelling on the basketball and volleyball court.

The 5'6" guard is already a 3-year all-state, all-district, and all-conference player, including being named Big Springs Conference MVP.  In volleyball, Kelsey is 4-year all-state, including a pair of conference MVP honors.

Favorite Movie: Tie between Shark Tale and Despicable Me

Favorite Food: Chicken cheese and rice from Mexican restaurants

Favorite Actor: Will Ferrell

Most Hated Athlete: Kobe Bryant

Favorite Team: Mizzou Tigers

 

Kelsey plans to play college basketball 4 years on a full ride scholarship.

"I want to pursue athletic training so I can always be around sports," said Williams.

Before leaving high school Kelsey wants to win a state championship in basketball.

Something you might not know about Kelsey is her "guilty pleasure".

"I love to lay in bed and watch cartoon movies."

Kelsey's Redwing team is currently 14-1 ranked number 4 in the state in class 1.
