SPRINGFIELD, MO - The Springfield Catholic Lady Irish continued their state 3-peat quest with a 5-0 win over Greenwood in Tuesday night's class 1 district 12 championship.
Bekah Bade got the scoring started in the 1st period. Lydia Holtman netted the 2nd goal on a Mandy Bailes corner kick late in the 1st half. Bailes added a breakaway goal early in the 2nd period on the way to the shutout victory.
Next up, Catholic will face Mountain View-Birch Tree/Liberty in the class 1 sectionals Tuesday May 22nd in Springfield.
