SPRINGFIELD, MO - Several Ozarks area golfers advanced to the state tournament Wednesday morning at Millwood Country Club. Lebanon senior Match Mather tied with Rock Bridge's William Echelmeier for medalist honors with a +2 70.
Rock Bridge captured the team title with a 313. Nixa also advances to state as a team with a 333. Washington, Kickapoo and Hickman wrapped up the rest of the top 5.
Other local individual qualifiers include Branson's Nicklaus Carley (+7) and Michael Gibson (+11), Rolla's Mark Martin (+11), West Plains' Isaac Burroughs (+12), Camdenton's Andrew Shannon (+12), and Central's Jordan Williams (+12)
Nixa's Parker Eckerson (+7) and Ryan Eady (+12) also finished in the top 12 and ties.
