Former MSU star Blake Ahearn selected to NBA D-League All-Star Game

RENO, NV - Former Missouri State star Blake Ahearn has been selected to the 2012 NBA Developmental League All-Star Game.  The game is Saturday February 25th in Orlando, FL and can be seen on NBA TV at 7:00 pm central time.

Ahearn, who played at Missouri State from 2003-2007 holds the Bears all-time record for 3-point field goals made (276).  He was also a 2-time All-MVC selection and holds the NCAA all-time free throw percentage record (94.6%).

Ahearn is currently the talk of the NBA D-League, averaging 24.1 points per game and 5.6 assists per game for the Reno Bighorns.  He is also currently riding a 110 consecutive free throw stretch which broke the NBA record set by Minnesota's Michael Williams in 2003.

This is the 6th year for the NBA D-League All-Star Game.  Last year 8 of the 20 players selected earned callups to the NBA at somepoint during the season.
