MARIONVILLE, MO - After winning just 3 games last season the Marionville Lady Comets have made a major turnaround, already winning 21 games on their way to the Show-Me Showdown in Columbia.

Leading the way is a talented freshman class featuring 6 players who went undefeated in jr. high.  Among that group is the versatile Josie Young, daughter of 1st year head coach Ted Young who coached the Comet boys to a state title in 2006.

The Lady Comets (21-10) face New Haven (17-12) in the class 1 semifinals Thursday, noon at Mizzou Arena.
