The Cassville football team surprised some by winning the 2008 class 3 state championship. So with the Wildcats back in the state playoffs no one should be surprised.
Coach Large's 3rd ranked Cats have won 12 straight games and are 2 away from back to back state titles beginning with the semfinals on Saturday afternoon against 4th ranked O'Hara.
We couldn't pick just one athlete, so we picked them all. Cassville is this weeks Wendy's High School Athlete's of the Week.
