The Sparta girls basketball was stunned last March when their season ended with a district semifinal loss on their home court. This year the Lady Trojans returned all 5 starters and have yet to lose. On Friday night, 2nd ranked Sparta puts its 26 and 0 record on the line against Clever, seeking their first district championship since 1988. The undefeated Lady Trojans are this weeks Wendy's High School Athlete's of the Week.
