College recruiting has heated up recently as Hillcrest sophomore Dorial Green continues to rise on the high school football radar. The 6-5, 205 pound Green was a first team all-state selection last season hauling in 60 catches for a Missouri record 1,616 receiving yards and 24 touchdowns.
Coaches from Missouri, Iowa, Oklahoma, Arkansas, among others have consistently hung around Springfield in attempt to make an early impression on the gifted Green. Football coaches showing up at basketball practice just to say hello.
Green is also an exceptional basketball and track star, and maintains that he would like to play football and basketball in college.
Maxpreps.com ranks Green as the number 2 overall player for the class of 2012.
