The defending class 3 state champ Cassville Wildcats are back in the title game this year. 3rd ranked Cassville held off 4th ranked Kansas City O'Hara 23-7 in Saturdays semifinal game in Cassville.
Senior running back Joseph Gouvion scored a pair of touchdowns. Quarterback Trevor Tanner added the games final score. Kicker Matt Angel also added a field goal.
Cassville faces Bowling Green in the class 3 championship game next Saturday, 3:15 pm at the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis.
