The Springfield-Greene County Park Board and Mediacom Ice Park will host the 2008 Show-Me-State Adult Ice Hockey Tournament on Friday, Aug. 1 – Sunday, Aug. 3.

Nine teams will compete in the tournament, including those from Arkansas, Illinois, and Missouri. Teams from more than just the state of Missouri are allowed to play in the games, because of the “open weekend” format of play.

· Four Friday games run with start times between 6 – 10:30 p.m.;

· Nine Saturday games start between 8:30 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.;

· Six Sunday elimination games start between 7 a.m. – 4 p.m.;

· Sunday’s Championship game begins at 5:30 p.m.; and

· Sunday’s Bronze Medal Place Game begins at 7 p.m.
