Missouri Basketball All-Star Games Players and Coaches Announced

The players and coaches participating in the 2008 Missouri Basketball All-Star Games sponsored by St. John’s Sports Medicine were introduced to the media today during a press conference at the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame.
Over 60 of the top 2008 graduating boys and girls basketball players will take part in the games on Friday, May 30, at the Bible Baptist College campus in Springfield, under the direction of the 2008 Missouri Basketball Coaches Association/Richard Fairchild Coaches of the Year.
The event will feature four contests. The Class 1-3 Girls game will tip-off at approximately 4:00 p.m. with the Class 1-3 Boys game to follow. The evening intermission will feature the Chick-Fil-A Three-Point and Wendy’s Slam Dunk Contests, along with several announcements and presentations. The newest members of the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association’s Hall of Fame will be recognized during this time as well. The Class 4-5 Girls game will tip-off the evening session around 7:00 pm, with the Class 4-5 Boys game to conclude the all-star event.
Tickets for the event are as follows: $6.00 for 12 years of age or older, $4.00 for four to 11 years of age and the event is free to those three years of age or younger. For additional information please contact the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame at (417) 889-3100.
