$4.75 at Nhu Lan Saigon Subs, 602 West Belmont Ave. When I heard that Nhu Lan was opening a shop in Lakeview, I couldn't have been more excited. The area already has a great option with Bun Mi Express--a block away--but for bahn mi enthusiasts, Nhu Lan rules with the best bread and tofu that makes hard-core carnivores happy. Making the trip to their Lincoln Square location was always a special treat, but now that it is in the 'hood, I can't stop eating there multiple times a week. --Rex Chekal
