At San Diego Comic-Con, stars Matt Smith and Karen Gillan promised a lot of excitement in the second half of Season 6, including a great River Song (Alex Kingston) episode called "Let's Kill Hitler," "a really cool robot/villain" (Gillan), something "really, really bad" happening to Gillan's Amy Pond (Smith), plus more Cybermen, James Corden, crazy dolls and, of course, a massive twist in the finale.
BBC America also has several specials planned:
"Doctor Who: Best of the Doctor," 8 p.m. Aug. 13
"Doctor Who: Best of the Monsters," 8 p.m. Aug. 20
"Doctor Who: Best of the Companions," 8:50 p.m. Aug. 27
