Do not exploit 9/11 for melodrama. Do not send a child on a fruitless journey and underplay the human interactions that may (but likely would not) have shown him something. Do not take a terrible book and find new, even phonier ways to make it worse. Really, really do not nominate it for Best Picture. Thank you.
