Whirlpool Corp. to pay State back $800K for tax credits, incentives

The Indiana Economic Development Corporation and Whirlpool Corporation announced Tuesday that Whirlpool will honor its commitment and pay the state of Indiana $800,000 to resolve all tax credits and incentives associated with the loss of employment in the company’s Evansville facility.
