Boil Order in Effect For Parts of Texas County

By Michelle Sherwood

A precautionary boil order has been issued for the Public Water Supply District #1 of Texas County. This boil order is for all customers living on Hwy 17 in Success between Lindsay Lane and AA Highway. This includes all roads connected to this main highway. The reason for this precautionary boil order is due to a loss of water pressure.

The low pressure in the system is a hazardous condition.

You may call Texas County at any time at 417-458-4569 for the latest recorded message regarding this boil order. The district will notify the media when the order has been lifted.

it would be nice if you displayed a small map of the boil order area. I know where AA Highway is but no idea where Lindsay Lane is.
