Table Rock Lake Businesses Getting Busier After Flooding

By Michelle Sherwood

Rain could give us some relief from all this heat, but area lakes are actually still up a few feet from flooding earlier this year.

For a while, it put a damper on business, but people who work around Table Rock Lake say they've recently seen more people starting to hit the water. This weekend was the first time workers at What's Up Dock were able to see their parking lot because of high waters. They also say debris isn't a problem anymore, and people are now able to get to their boat docks.

“I think people just finally realizing that Table Rock is open for business,” says Mary Beck, What’s Up Dock manager. “We haven't been shut down, so come on down and enjoy the lake while the summer's still here."
