Girl Drowns at Branson Hotel Pool

BRANSON, Mo. (AP) - Authorities say a six-year-old girl has drowned in a motel pool in Branson.

Police said the child was from Festus, and vacationing with her grandparents and other children.

They say the girl was swimming unsupervised at the Econo Lodge pool
last night when she went under while trying to save a younger child
who had lost a floatation device.
