By KSPR News

From the sheriff's department:

"The overtime grants will pay deputies overtime for enforcement of speeding, and impaired drivers including Sobriety Checkpoints. The Sheriff’s Office also received a used vehicle from the Highway Safety Division for use on D.W.I. Sobriety Checkpoints along with a light tower and generator that can also be used during emergencies. Norm Anderson with the Tin Bender Body Shop donated his time and material in repainting the vehicle for the county."

Sheriff's officials in Stone County will stage a DWI checkpoint on Aug. 30 on Missouri 13, north of Kimberling City.
