James River Creeps Into Galena

By KSPR News
By Joanna Small

Residents in Galena in Stone County, Missouri, were bombarded by the James River spilling over its banks into the local Outfitters Campground.
Several RVs, nearly a dozen vehicles, and tents were all in a few feet of water early Saturday afternoon.
One resident told KSPR the water rose all the way up to Oak Road.
Excessive precipitation closed 413 between Crane and Galena.
