Couple Killed in Work Zone

A couple from Winona was killed Thursday morning while slowing down in a work zone on Highway 60, two miles east of Mountain View, Mo.

The Missouri Highway Patrol reports Timothy and Shelly Blunkall were killed in a three-car accident. The patrol says a car slowed down for a pedestrian in a work zone. That car was rear-ended by another car which crossed the center line and hit the Blunkall's car head-on. A prisoner working nearby was also hurt in the collision.
