CBCO Blood Drives: January 7 - 13

Community Blood Center of the Ozarks (CBCO) has issued a CODE YELLOW ALERT for Type A Negative and B Negative blood. There is less than a two day supply of these blood types on hospital shelves. Your donation is needed to help replenish the supply.

It takes over 275 donations every day to meet the needs of patients in thirty-six area hospitals. CBCO will be holding drives at the following locations this week:

Ava - 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Tuesday, January 8, Scroll Compressors, 1400 NW 3rd Street

Birch Tree - 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Thursday, January 10, Birch Tree Place, Highway 60 West

Bolivar - 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, Monday, January 7, Teters Floral Products Co., 1425 S. Lillian

Bolivar - 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Thursday, January 10, Citizens Memorial Hospital, 1500 N. Oakland

Branson West - 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 12, Wal-Mart Supercenter, 18401 State Highway 13

Buffalo - 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Tuesday, January 8, The O'Bannon Center, 315 E. Ramsey

Donations are also accepted at the Springfield Donor Center, 2230 S. Glenstone, Monday thru Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Thursday from 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and the first Saturday of every month from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

CBCO needs your help to meet the growing need for blood in the Ozarks. Please make plans to donate at this upcoming blood drive. To be eligible to give, you must weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health.
