Tornadoes Spotted in Three Counties

By Brad Belote

The Storm Prediction Center received preliminary reports of small tornadoes in Phelps, Pulaski and Dent counties Thursday night.

Pulaski County 911 received a report of a brief touchdown near Highway H and Polla Road in Waynesville.

There were two reports of tornadoes in Phelps County: one near St. James; the other near Edgar Springs.

Storm spotters in Dent County believe they saw a tornado near Highway 19 near Gladden, Mo.

The National Weather Service will have to confirm whether these reports were actual tornadoes.

The Storm Prediction Center has a list of all the severe weather reports from Thursday's storms.
