Two Dogs Rescued From Pleasant Hope Property Now Dead

By KSPR News

We have an update on the hundreds of animals rescued from a Pleasant Hope property.

The Humane Society in Saint Louis says the animals continue to recover, but two of the severely malnourished dogs have died.

Many of the dogs are anemic because of flea infestations and internal problems.

Workers are treating a lot of the other dogs for severe mange.

The rescue effort earlier this month was the largest in state history for the Humane Society.

It removed a variety of more than 350 animals.
