Man Shot in Ozark County Identified, Suspect charged

Prosecutors have charged Roger Hershey with first degree murder for the death of 32-year old James Lee Johnson.

Hershey is charged with shooting Johnson's mother, who is also Hershey's girlfriend. She is in St. John's hospital in Springfield.

Deputies say Johnson and his mother were shot at a home on County Road 153 over a property dispute. When they arrived, they took Hershey into custody and assisted the woman.
