Man Died While Tubing on Eleven Point River

COUCH, Mo. (AP) - An Arkansas man has died after suffering an unknown medical problem while tubing on the Eleven Point River in southern Missouri.

Billy Florence, of Sheridan, Ark., fell into the water around 2 p.m. Sunday while tubing down the river, according to the Missouri State Water Patrol. He was pulled from the water by nearby tubers, who began performing CPR, then was airlifted to Poplar Bluff Medical Center.

Florence died around 10:35 a.m. on Monday, the water patrol said.
