Severe Storms Caused Spotty Damage

A track of storms across southwest Missouri caused major damage in the town of Buffalo and scattered problems thoughout the Ozarks.

In Laclede County, the emergency manager says a school bus was turned over. The driver was the only person on board. The storm caused significant damage to homes and businesses in northern Lebanon. That office also reports lots of low water crossings, including areas they say aren't usually covered by water are covered.

In Taney County, amateur radio spotters reported three mobile homes flooded in Taneyville. Spotters also said the eastbound lane of Highway 160 was impassable west of Forsyth.

In Barry County, the emergency manager says a semi-truck was turned over on Highway 37. The roof of the Nazarene Church and the Baptist Church.

In Vernon County, a storm spotter says he saw a tornado damaging a home on Highway BB.
