The remains of a human body found in a Laclede County field Tuesday are those of Tracy Wahwassuck, a woman who went missing just over a year ago.
A man spreading fertilizer stumbled over the bones and tattered clothing and reported it to the sheriff.
Wahwassuck disappeared about 13 months ago.
Her boyfriend Leonard Couch and her were looking for arrowheads near a creek just across the road from the house she shared with Couch right before she disappeared.
The remains were discovered just up the hill from the same creek bed friends say Wahwassuck was frequenting the day she vanished.

What ever happened with this case? I have heard noting more than her being found. I pray an arrest is made and that the case is not forgotten about.
