Tornado Confirmed in Howell County

The National Weather Service determined a weak tornado struck in Howell County Thursday.

An EF-0 twister hit one mile west of Highways 14 and Highway T. The tornado tracked northeast across Highway AP. The tornado's path was approximately three miles long and one-quarter mile wide.

The storm broke or uprooted numerous trees.
