Natalie Swallow came to KSPR in August 2007 as the live morning reporter.

Natalie was born and raised in Houston, Texas, except for two years she spent in Sao Paulo, Brazil as a child. Natalie has always been curious about everything going on around her. Her family and friends always tease her about the many questions she asks.

She believes everyone has a story to tell, and she loves hearing and sharing those stories with others. It is only fitting that Natalie would channel this love for knowledge into her career in journalism.

Natalie came to the Show-Me State for what she calls “the best journalism degree she could get” at the University of Missouri School of Journalism. While in Columbia, Natalie also worked as a reporter and fill-in anchor at KOMU, Mid-Missouri’s NBC affiliate, for a year.

Outside of work, Natalie enjoys going to the lake, spending time with family and friends, and exploring Springfield and the surrounding areas.
