Christine hails from Cleveland, Ohio, but has made the Ozarks her home since 1998. She began her broadcast career as an assistant producer in the consumer unit at WEWS-TV in Cleveland. She later moved to WKRC-TV (not WKRP) in Cincinnati, Ohio where she worked as a field producer and news writer. Christine moved to Springfield in 1998 to become a producer and reporter at a competing television station. Soon after she was subsititute anchoring. She and Joe met each other while working at competing stations and were introduced by their best man Jerry Jacob. The two married in 2002 and soon after moved to Tulsa, OK where they worked together at KOKI-TV. Christine also worked at the state's public television station, OETA (Oklahoma Education Television Authority).
Since moving back to the Ozarks from Tulsa, Christine worked at Noble and Associates as an account executive. She jumped at the chance to get back into news and is really excited about working side by side with her husband.
"A lot of people have asked me how I can work with my spouse day in and day out. But Joe is my best friend and you rarely get sick of spending time with your best friend!"
Christine is thrilled to have an active, contributing role in this community, "KSPR is the perfect chance to really make a positive impact in the lives of our friends and neighbors. I'm so excited to be back in news it's hard to contain."
Christine has been honored by the Missouri Broadcasters Association for Spot News coverage and she also received a National Edward R. Murrow for her contributing reports for tornado coverage.
Christine and Joe celebrated the birth of their first child in September of 2006, a son named Joey.
The couple is expecting their second child at the beginning of 2009!
Christine's parents and her older brother and his family live in Kansas City. Her older sister lives in Pennsylvania. Outside of work Christine enjoys cooking - she's a foodie, jogging, traveling and watching pretty much any movie.
