Meet Kyle Bosch

By Brad Belote

Waking up before the sun is a whole new experience for KSPR News This Morning anchor Kyle Bosch.

A life long night owl, Kyle joined KSPR in August of 2006 as the evening news anchor. He moved to mornings in September 2007.

"This is really an exciting change for me, and one I really couldn't pass up."

Kyle came to the Ozarks from Minnesota where he anchored the evening news at KAAL-TV.

"I've always had a passion for telling stories and letting people know what's going on, to get the chance to do that for a living is a dream come true."

A graduate of the University of Minnesota with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Political Science, Kyle's an award winning journalist who's reported on everything from local sports to record floods. But, he has always had a special focus on politics.

From city council meetings to national elections Kyle's covered it all. His stories helped start an ethics investigation against a Minnesota State Representative and took him to the other side of the world.

In 2004 Kyle traveled to Kosovo, a war-torn province in Serbia, where he spent three days reporting on Minnesota soldiers stationed there to keep the peace.
Kyle got his start in television news as an Associate Producer at KSTP-TV in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, he also worked as a producer in the KSTP Capitol Bureau covering then Governor Jesse Ventura, an experience he will never forget.

A Midwesterner all his life Kyle is originally from Fargo, North Dakota (Yea, You Betcha) and is very excited to call the Ozarks home.

"The winters are a little different here, but I could use a break from all the snow."

During his free time Kyle loves playing golf, hockey, football, soccer, tennis, baseball or just about any other sport.

He also enjoys camping, going to the lake and downhill skiing.
