LIBERTY, Mo. -- A man from southeast Kansas man could face the death penalty after being convicted of murdering three of his relatives at their home in west-central Missouri. A Clay County jury recommended the sentence last Saturday for Robert Blurton, 47, of Garnett, Kan.

Mother is charged after death of infant from Mountain View

Mountain View police were called to the Mountain View home Sunday afternoon.

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Mo.-- A five month old girl is dead and her mother, Bobbie Derryberry, 21, faces multiple charges. According to documents filed by the Howell County prosecuting attorney, emergency responders and Mountain View Police were called to a home on Herman Street. The parents told investigators they woke to find the 5-month-old girl unresponsive at about 1:30 Sunday afternoon. The baby died at the scene.
