Michael Price and Brandy Price are facing first degree burglary charges Friday.

Michael and Brandy are being held in the Greene Co. Jail on a 15,000 dollar bonds.

Original Story:

A man is in custody after Greene County deputies believe he and a companion broke in and ransacked a home at 6096 N. Farm Road 117 on Friday morning.  A brother of the homeowner, who lives nearby, interrupted the burglary in progress and held the man at gunpoint until deputies arrived.

A woman who was with the arrested man fled with a child in a white van.  Law enforcement caught up with her around noon in Polk County and she has been brought back to Springfield for questioning and possible charges.

Deputies say the burglar broke into the home on Farm Road 117 through the back door.  They don't think this burglary is related to the search for a man who crashed during a chase on Thursday night and then likely held a couple hostage in their home near Bois D'Arc early Friday
