CRIMESTOPPERS Looking for Check Theft and Forgery Suspect

CRIME STOPPERS and the Springfield Police Department are asking for help identifying the suspect in a string of related check forgeries.
The checks were originally stolen from a female victim on the evening of May 25th while she was at the Palace Theater located at 2220 W Chesterfield. At the end of the evening the victim noticed her wallet and checkbook were missing from her purse.
Since the original incident, several forged checks from the victim’s account have surfaced at Springfield stores, including Shoe Carnival, Payless Shoes, Gordman’s, Dillons, Price Cutter and Food 4 Less. Several of these stores obtained footage of the forgery suspect.
