Wednesday Morning: Dreary & Damp

By KSPR Weather

Good morning!

If we can make it through one more dreary, and cold, and damp, and downright depressing day things will look up for the end of the week!  WE CAN DO IT!

Rain currently showing showing up on the radar. Showers are stretching from the MO/IA state line into Springfield.   A shortwave will be moving into our area from the North and we will see precip moving from north to south thoughout the day.

Rain and drizzle will be possible throughout the day but amounts will remain low.

Rain for the weekend is looking a lot heavier!  The system moving in keeps getting slowed down every time I take a look.  Time frame now is looking like late Saturday into Sunday.  Rainfall totals across the Ozarks will be high.

The chance for snow does still exist for Saturday night.  Don't worry... it will stay relatively light in SWMO.  A little to the north, not so much!

Words of advice, enjoy Thursday and Friday.  Winter is going out in style with SUNSHINE and temperatures near 60!

Have a great day.
