Friday Morning Blog- Cool & Damp Weekend

By KSPR Weather

Good morning!

Most people across the area are off to a relatively warm start... low-40's.  The problem is, it's only going to warm up about 5 degrees.

2 different systems are bringing the cloud coverage and chance for rain into our area.  Low pressure to our northeast is going to continue to sit and spin wrap around moisture right into our area.  The 2nd is to our SE.  This will move to the east quickly, but our eastern counties could see some light precip with this.

It's pretty much the same story for Saturday.  That low to our north will still bring that chance of rain to our area.  For the next two days, we aren't looking at a ton of precipitation.  It's more along the lines of the lingering light showers that just won't go away.

Here is futurecast for Friday at 5pm:

And much the same expected for Saturday morning:

Once again, don't cancel any plans because of rain.  For the 2 day total, precipitation is looking quite light.

We will start to warm up as we start the work week.  It may be a good weekend to try and stay indoors.

Have a wonderful Friday and an even better weekend!
