By Kyle Bosch

ST. CHARLES, Mo. (AP) - Top Missouri Republicans called a town hall meeting on health care reform Wednesday in advance of a speech on the topic by President Barack Obama.

The president plans to speak at 3:50 p.m. Wednesday at St. Charles High School, before headlining a Democratic fundraiser at 6:30 p.m. in St. Louis.

Republicans including Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder and Congressman Todd
Akin scheduled a town hall meeting for 10 a.m. to discuss how Obama's proposals would affect Missouri's budget. That meeting
takes place at the St. Charles Convention Center.
